- “Title IX Exempt” Schools Can Discriminate Against LGBTQ+ Students (College Torch)
- Clery Act: Nearly all colleges are required by law to publish crime logs regularly on their website, along with an annual security report that includes hate crimes. Find the report by doing a search for “Clery Act” + the college’s name.
One more thing: Make a priority of learning about Title IX, the federal law that protects you in most schools. I’m sure it sounds dry, but this knowledge can help you protect yourself or advocate for your friends later.
